Alex Zaguskin
Biography
Alex started his career as one of the first entrepreneurs in the USSR at the time of the Perestroika. After immigrating to the United States following the collapse of the Soviet Union, Alex held various management positions at large multinational corporations such as United Technologies, Lear Corporation, and Grupo Antolin. Alex has worked on numerous product launches across various different markets, including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Spain, Italy, Germany, China and Russia. Over his career Alex also had a number of successful businesses. He holds various patents for integrated product design, and has extensive hands on engineering experience. Later in his career, Alex joined Russian Machines Systems– a sister company of GAZ - as Vice President of Engineering and Operations. He later joined Sollers – the fourth largest Russian OEM – as Vice President of Purchasing, Engineering, and Localization. Alex was also a member of OAR – a consortium of Russian OEM Purchasing Vice Presidents. After a number of years in Russia, Alex moved back to the United States and started his consulting business. Alex has a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineer with a specialization in Industrial Engineering and Tool Design from Azerbaijan Polytechnic University.
